WhAT WE DO
BlackIron collects and analyzes open source data, providing our clients with timely, accurate and actionable insights that inform critical decisions. We examine global geopolitical risk and provide a variety of daily and periodic reporting products to clients in government, national security industry, and finance. We’re looking for an experienced political analyst to seamlessly integrate with our U.S. business intelligence team to monitor the U.S. political environment and inform clients on potential risk factors impacting their business.
What YOU DO
The ideal candidate has more than 5 years of experience with information operations or commercial marketing campaigns, including designing and executing an overall strategy, developing and deploying persuasive messaging and media, and measuring effectiveness quantitatively and qualitatively.
You are able to analyze and understand the broader information environment, identify opportunities to advance client goals, and leverage focus groups, organic and contract polling, and other resources to design, develop, and deploy effective messaging quickly. You must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and have experience evaluating open source information, particularly social media and mis/disinformation.
You must also be comfortable interacting directly with clients, owning your team’s products, and delivering candid feedback and advice to clients on progress and next steps. You must also have prior experience managing small teams and growing them individually and collectively.
International experience is valued but not necessary.
The ability to think critically, speak candidly, and work well across our teams is mission critical.
